TARA MORRISSEY

Tara has been a hairstylist for 7 years, 6 of which she has worked at Salon Bella Vita. She has attended the Bumble and Bumbles University in New York for the Design Workshop cutting class. She has trained with Martin Parsons on updo techniques, wedding hair and bridal styles. Tara is skilled in the Brazilian Blowout, specializes in Goldwell hair coloring and continues to further her education. Along with women’s hair design she also excels with men’s and children’s haircuts. Tara has as much of a passion for her clients as she does for creating beautiful hair.

ELYSSA LEE

Elyssa became a hairstylist because she truly loves helping people feel beautiful! She specializes in hair design for weddings, proms, fashion shows, and other important occasions. Elyssa has received awards for hair, makeup and nail design and is always continuing her education to offer clients the latest techniques for hair and makeup. DANIELLE CARRETE

Specializing in cut, color and style, Danielle has been working in the hair and fashion industry for the past 15 years. Doing everything from assisting artistic director of Paul Mitchell for 9 yrs. to organizing workshops, stage shows, cut and color demos for hair. She has worked with hair and fashion for national campaign tv and ads.

MIKE ALTER

Mike has been in the Lake Tahoe area for over 30 years with a love for the community and his family. He has been in the Hair Industry for over 12 years with 8 months of hair design and color training at XL Salon in San Mateo, California before moving back to the area in 1999. His continued education and contemporary styling supplement his belief that the color, cut and design should all complement each other as well as the individual and their personality.

DEBBIE POMERANTZ

Debbie, a resident of the Lake Tahoe’s North Shore since 1976, brings 25+ years of hair styling experience. She earned her original accreditations at the Sassoon Santa Monica Academy in Southern California and honed her skills in Beverly Hills. Former owner of Sierra Hair, Debbie has worked at other notable local salons including Michael and Company, The Balcony and the Hair Gallery.

Specializing in cuts, colors, weddings and make-up, Debbie’s philosophy towards the customer is simple and professional: “I believe that beauty is different for every person and that achieving it need not be a daily struggle. I always consider the individual's unique features and needs when conceiving their cut and color. Individual and practical is my goal.”

In her spare time Debbie enjoys the steeps at Squaw Valley, hiking, biking, painting in oils, and volunteering at our local animal shelter.

BETTINA RIFFO

Raised just outside of Hollywood California, Bettina has a keen artistic flair, and an eye for beauty in all things. Bettina has had a well rounded progressive career in the fields of Animation, Bridal Artistry, and Feature Films. Some of her credits are Background Hairstylist for "Pirates of the Caribbean 3", and Hair/Makeup Stylist for "Hot Tub Time Machine" Press Junket.

As an educator, Bettina enjoys teaching hands on makeup workshops which she produces and hosts at Salon Bella Vita. Bettina's latest expression of style and creativity has been through the hair and makeup for brides and their weddings. Her passion for her craft is easily seen on the clients that come sit in her chair.

Bettina can be contacted for bridal events, editorial styling, private and corporate events, and commercial and feature work. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1991.
